Da - Cake!

This past 4th of July we had alot of things that went on. The Stadium of Fire was on Saturday which was also my dad's Birthday. Prior to the stadium of Fire that evening we spent the day having fun with my parents and little bro! 

Dad was being so cute...he was trying to help Brea play dance revolution lol

Macaroni Grill is now one of my favorite Italian places! :D 

We asked him what kind of cake he wanted and he said, "I want the best cake that Alicia can make!" I think he was worried that if he asked for a certain kind it wouldn't turn out....memories of me and my cooking skills lol which to me was totally understandable! We decided to make an ice-cream cake with BYU creamery rocky road ice-cream in the middle!

One of Dad's favorite candy bars is heath crunch so we chopped it up and put it on the whip cream (which was the frosting :) 

Justin put the candles on it in the other room and brought it out! Dad was SO surprised! And the cake was a hit! Thanks to tips from Aunt Jolynn! :)

It was definitely a great day! :)
